I am a thirty-something year old adult and I have this toy because I am a Tony Stewart fan. I have also bought a set of two of these cars plus a hauler for my nephew to play with. These cars are great and very durable. The only downside is they tend to be a little on the noisy side. I don’t know if you could say that they have any educational value to them, except maybe helping with hand-eye coordination but in my opinion sometimes kids should just be allowed to be kids and play cars. I did thata lot as a kid (and yes I am a girl). Overall great fun for kids and young at heart Tony fans. Not great if you have a headache though.
